Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. She has a father who is Australian and her mother is Swiss. Her family lived in Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a tiny mining town in Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. Isabel attended school alongside Nina and kids from different traditions, in addition to First Nations. Isabel lives in Byron Bay, New South Wales Australia. Isabel began her acting career at school. She went on to study drama in the Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology as well as recently, studied how to use the PEM Method (Perdekamp Emotional Method). She never auditioned for roles until she was discovered through her agency in the year 2002. She was offered the role in Home and Away, 1988. The producers thought she wasn't suitable for the role, but were impressed enough and came up with the role of Tasha. After three years, Isabel was cast in her debut role on the screen and won with a Logie Award. In 2008 Isabel moved into Los Angeles. In 2009, her breakthrough performance was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. In the time since, she has starred and won awards on a variety of US and Australian film productions. Isabel was recently on the screen in Bosh & Rockit, a movie which is rapidly becoming a well-known classic in Australia. Additionally, she played in the forthcoming thriller Lunacy. Isabel was also recently finished with Sons of Summer, and she's currently working as Marie Curie for Radiant. The film is directed by award-winning Annika Glac.
